Samuel Umtiti, calf injury in his right leg
Barca explained the Frenchman's injury after the return to training
Barcelona said that Samuel Umtiti is injured in a statement released on Saturday. The Frenchman has a "calf injury in his right leg" and will return to training when he has recovered.
It is the third injury that Umtiti has suffered in the current season. The first was on September 9, 2019, when he hurt his foot with France. He missed five to six weeks.
Umtiti's second injury was in October, hurting his left knee. Under Quique Setien he has found his way back to regular first team football action - the 12th most used player under the coach.
