Samuel Umtiti and Marc Bartra poke fun at Ivan Rakitic on social media
After the Croatian midfielder posted a photo of him working hard to get back into shape, his fellow professionals couldn't resist poking fun at him
Ivan Rakitic is already getting prepared for next season. The Croatian uploaded a photo to his Instagram photo after completing a personal training session ahead of next week's return to Barcelona. However a couple of fellow professionals, namely Samuel Umtiti and Marc Bartra, couldn't resist having a laugh at Rakitic's expense.
In the photo, Rakitic's shirt is drenched with sweat. Umtiti jokingly responded by saying: "It's water." Rakitic responded by saying: "I wish it was!"
Then came Barta who added: "It doesn't count if you just throw water over yourself, eh." Rakitic replied with: "Come here and I'll give you some classes."
Rakitic's future remains unknown at this point but he's scheduled to join up with his teammates on the 14th July.
