FC Bayern Munich's president, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has weighed in on the debate surrounding the two German internationals who will face off when Bayern take on Barça this Friday. Manuel Neuer is the current number one for the national team but Barça's Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been performing at an incredible level for the past few years and many feel he deserves to be handed the no1 jersey.
For Rummenigge, he's a fan of ter Stegen but poured cold water on claims he should be starting for Germany.
"The national team is lucky to have two goalkeepers like this available. Both are, without any doubt, top. Manuel is world-class whilst ter Stegen is on the road to becoming world-class," insists Rummenigge.
