The Dutch coach spoke at his federation's headquarters ahead of his switch to Camp Nou

Ronald Koeman is in Holland, trying to seal his move to take over as coach of Barcelona. The Dutch national team coach was at the KNVB headquarters to speak to the bosses and pact his exit.

He did not avoid the press who found him there. He told NOS that "this is the moment of accepting the role of Barcelona coach. I'd like it but it's not definitive yet. An agreement is definitive when they sign the contract, only then is it 100 per cent sure. There's no signature yet."

Always smiling in his car, he added: "I can't say anything, I'd like to but it's not a reasonable moment. There's not total clarity so sadly we'll have to wait, I can't say more."

Koeman has a contract with Holland with a clause to allow him to leave to take over at Barcelona after Euro 2020. That's now, but because of coronavirus, the tournament was pushed back to 2021.

He will replace the sacked Quique Setien at Camp Nou.
