With each passing day it appears there's a fresh twist in Luis Suarez's future. The Uruguayan striker appeared to be on the verge of a move to Juventus, subject to passing an Italian exam, after Barça told him he wouldn't be needed this season.
Suarez wasn't included in Koeman's first preseason squad for the match against Nastic. Whilst his future isn't resolved, he continues to train as normal alongside his teammates. According to reports from Uruguayan outlet 'Ovación Digital', it appears Koeman has offered a potential olive branch to his unwanted striker. The Dutchman has told Suarez he will be integrated back into the group if a move away fails to materialise.
Suarez is working as hard as ever in training and this is enough to convince Koeman that he'd be a useful member of the squad. The striker has a year left to run on his existing deal.
