The Dutchman had a heart problem after cycling to Amsterdam
Ronald Koeman published a message on social media, remembering the bike ride he took a year ago that nearly led to severe consequences. He cycled to Amsterdam where he felt pain his chest and was taken to hospital. He had a heart procedure there.
“Exactly one year ago, this bike ride ended up badly and I underwent a heart procedure. Now I am healthy and happy!” said Koeman on Instagram.
Just a few months later he had left the Holland job and taken over at Barcelona, winning the Copa del Rey and keeping the club in the fight for the title.
