The Barca coach has a depleted attack because of injury problems
Injury problems are mounting for Ronald Koeman’s Barcelona. The coach only has three fit forwards out of seven in the squad. Martin Braithwaite was ruled out on Sunday morning for three to four months. He trained on Sunday, appeared to hurt his knee, which already was an issue against Getafe on August 29th, and had to leave the session.
Braithwaite joins Ansu Fati, Ousmane Dembele and Sergio Aguero on the sidelines.
It leaves Luuk de Jong, Yusuf Demir and Memphis Depay as the only forwards. Midfielder Philippe Coutinho could be used as part of the forward line.
Koeman also has doubts in defence, with Sergino Dest suffering an ankle problem and Gerard Pique not 100 per cent fit.
