Ronald Koeman on De Jong and De Ligt
The Dutch coach spoke about the Barca signing and the Barca target
Ronald Koeman, the Dutch coach and former Barcelona player, spoke about Frenkie de Jong - Barca's new signing - and Matthijs de Ligt - Barca target.
In an interview with Marca, Koeman says that "De Jong and De Ligt are very, very good, with great potential in the future. The (Dutch national) team has changed in terms of names, but the style and mentality prevail. We're getting back to be the classic Holland."
Koeman thinks De Ligt could reach the level of Van Dijk and Pique. "He has a great future ahead of him. The season he's had at just 19 is impressive. A very long campaign because back in July they were playing Champions League qualifiers. He won the cup and the league, played in a Champions League semi and consolidated his place in the national team. His fight, confidence and how he is physically are spectacular."
