Ronald Koeman: La Liga has not escaped us yet
The coach said his team still have a chance of lifting the title this season
Ronald Koeman is sure that Barcelona still have a chance of winning La Liga, despite the draw with Atletico Madrid.
In the press conference ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Levante, the Dutchman said: “We’re in the same situation. La Liga has not yet escaped. Atletico are ahead but we can’t think about them because the chance exists if first we win all our games.”
Koeman believes it’s still very tight at the top with just three matches to go.
“La Liga is very equal,” he said. “It’s hard for us in various ways, physically, the pressure, we have to give everything, and that’s it. The others have difficulties too. We have to survive and analyse. The games are counting down.”
