The Barca coach says he is focused on doing a good job at Camp Nou

Ronald Koeman is calm. He thinks that if he does a good job, he will stay on as Barca manager. A new president will be in place by next season, but Koeman is focused on the task at hand.

In an interview with AD, he said he's calm about the club elections. Asked if he would speak to the candidates like he spoke to Leo Messi, Koeman said that he would not.

"No, I definitely won't do that, I'm far from the electoral games. A candidate wants Xavi as a coach, the next someone else, whatever. The only thing I can do at Barcelona is play well. If I do good work, I think not many candidates will want me out," said Koeman.

He said he's not regretted joining. "I've never regretted it," he added." At the start you are completely absorbed, you never think about that. Now I look at it, I'm Barcelona coach. I have to enjoy what I'm doing now. My head is only on Barcelona, I'm not thinking about the (Dutch) national team."
