Ronald Koeman: I realise I'm lucky after heart scare
The coach had a heart attack but is in good shape after the incident
Ronald Koeman admits he was lucky after his heart scare - he had a heart problem on May 3, from which he is recovering.
“It was really weird because I had scheduled the check-up because my father had died of a heart attack but because of the corona crisis it was postponed to June 4,” said the Netherlands national team coach in an interview with RTL Beau.
“Now I wonder how many people from whom such an appointment has been postponed are no longer alive. In retrospect, I realise that I was lucky.”
