Ronald Koeman has a lot of decisions to make at Barça this week

The new Barça manager must decide who he wants to keep, who he wants to sell and identify which players to target in the transfer window

This week looks set to be another intense one for Ronald Koeman. The new Barça manager will finally have the chance to look at and evaluate the players available to him. Key decisions will need to be made on who to keep, who to sell and who needs adding ahead of the new season.

Lionel Messi is expected to finally join up for preseason training today. The Argentine tried to force his exit from the club but Barça held firm and now he looks set to stay. It'll be the first time Koeman and Messi cross paths since their unsuccessful meeting on the 20th August.

Koeman has had ample time to make a decision on the immediate futures of Rafinha, Miranda, Oriol Busquets, Aleñá, Wagué, Matheus Fernandes, Todibo, Trincao and Pedri.

Barça have respected Koeman's wish to be given time to look at everyone during preseason but have insisted that whilst they will be patient, the club can't afford to stand still either. The new season is quickly approaching and the sooner squads are finalised, the better.

Big decisions must be made on Semedo and Coutinho's future as both could be sold for significant money if they are deemed replaceable.

Barça must also make decisions on new signings too. Eric Garcia, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Depay and Lautaro have all be linked with moves to the club but it would be very difficult, if not impossible, to sign them all.
