Ronald Koeman has been working on 4-3-3 during the week, changing from the system Barcelona used in the Clasico, but in the end, at the last minute, he has changed back to the 3-5-2 for the Copa final against Athletic Club later today.

SPORT have learned that the coach did not like that it was reported he was thinking of starting off with a 4-3-3 against Athletic at La Cartuja at 9.30pm tonight.

The big question, apart from if Gerard Pique will start, is who will therefore accompany Leo Messi in attack. It will be either Ousmane Dembele or Antoine Griezmann and it’s not yet clear who Koeman will choose.

The team did an activation session in the morning, including Pique, who is now fit, so we are waiting to see what Koeman’s starting XI will be.
