Ronald Koeman blames schedule for Ousmane Dembele injury

The Dutch coach is not happy with his team playing so late on the Saturday

Ronald Koeman used Ousmane Dembele's hamstring injury to take a pop at the scheduling of matches.

The winger suffered a problem during the defeat by Cadiz on Saturday night.

"It's a shame to lose another player," said Koeman.

"It is a step back for Dembélé as he had improved a lot in terms of fitness. It is another reason for me to complain about kick off times. For the good of Spanish sides in the Champions League, La Liga should schedule different kick off times ahead of European games.

"We have played five games away from home and all of them have been at 9.00pm. You can't get back at 4.30 in the morning and then have a Champions League game on Tuesday. It is not helping the La Liga teams."

Barca welcome Juventus on Tuesday night in the UCL.
