Ronald Araujo returns to group training ahead of Sevilla clash

The Uruguayan has been crucial this season and was badly missed of late

Barcelona trained on Thursday morning ahead of Saturday’s league clash with Sevilla in Andalusia. The squad was happy after beating Elche on Wednesday to stay in the hunt for La Liga.

The team know the importance of Saturday’s game against the side directly below them, in fourth place.

Barca were able to welcome Ronald Araujo back to group training, where he completed part of the session. He may not be able to start at the weekend but should be fine to play in midweek in the Copa del Rey semi-final second leg, also against Sevilla.

Araujo was injured against Real Betis, suffering an ankle sprain, and missed the first leg of that game and the 4-1 thrashing by PSG n the Champions League, among other games.

The return of the Uruguayan, who has become crucial for Koeman, will be a breath of fresh air for the Catalans.
