The defender spoke about the coach and Leo Messi in an interview

Ronald Araujo has reason to smile. The Uruguayan has recovered from his injury and was able to participate against Huesca and Real Sociedad. Now the international break has come and he can keep finding his best fitness to help the team. He also had time for an interview with Esport3, in which he praised Ronald Koeman.

“It’s very good that the board has confidence in Koeman because the coach has shown he is a great coach, he’s very good with the team and the dressing room,” said Araujo.

“This relationship is very important. I’m happy that he can continue with us, because he brings us a lot, especially the young ones. The work he had in front of him was nothing easy, taking into account how the situation was.

“But he’s a coach with a lot of character, who knows how to take on these things. He and his technical team have done very good work.”

On Leo Messi, Araujo also had praise.

“I hope that he stays with us next season and many more. Leo is good, I see he is happy,” added the defender.

“He works happy, not just in games but also in training. He trains like a beast and that’s very important because he is the captain and a reference point. And that is contagious for everyone, especially the young ones.”
