The Uruguayan centre back went off injured against Celta Vigo when he bumped heads with Gavi

Ronald Araujo has received his medical clearance to play.

The Uruguayan defender had to go off on May 10 against Celta Vigo when he clashed heads with Gavi.

Araujo was taken to hospital and scanned and he had concussion. He stayed in overnight and went home the next day.

The player is now well and is in the squad to face Villarreal on the last day of the season.

Eric Garcia and Pique are still out injured so there’s a good chance he could start.

After the game on Sunday, Barcelona will head to Australia, where they play on Wednesday next week in Sydney.
