Ronald Araujo, emotional after his Barca debut despite red card
The Uruguayan was happy even though he was dismissed by the referee for no good reason
Last night wasn't just any other for Ronald Araujo. The Uruguayan defender, a regular B team starter, was handed his debut as a substitute against Sevilla when Jean-Clair Todibo got tired. However he ended up being cruelly sent off by Mateo Lahoz, who thought he fouled Chicharito when he did no such thing.
Regardless, Araujo posted a message on Twitter after the game. "Thanks to God and all my family," he wrote. "Today is a special day, it makes me very happy to officially debut at the best club in the world." The Uruguayan is the fourth captain of the B team.
Gracias a Dios y a toda mi familia .
