Roger Marti: Barca? Levante don't want to sell me

The Levante player will not be going to Camp Nou it seems

Roger Marti spoke about Barcelona's interest in him as a replacement for Ousmane Dembele, out injured. "In the end on Tuesday they got in contact with me through my agent (Jose Rodri) and he told me that Barca are interested in me," he told Superdeporte. "He came to Valencia, he met (with Quico Catalan) and he told me they did not reach a deal because Levante don't want to sell me."

The forward added: "I'm not involved in it but I know that Barcelona were definitely interested. As I've always said, I'm really comfortable here and calm. That a big side like Barca want you is very nice and it shows we're doing things well. I don't know how it will end but I'm very happy here."

Marti has 10 goals this season. "The player who says that he doesn't like that Barca are calling him is lying, they're one of the best sides in the world. It's nice they're interested or call you, but in the end I'm very focused. I have a contract here and a clause they have to respect."
