Rodrigo Tarin joins La Liga side Leganes from Barcelona B
The defender has signed a three-year deal with the Madrid-based club
Leganes have confirmed the signing of Rodrigo Tarin on a three-year deal after his contract with Barcelona B expired.
The centre-back, 22, joined Barça as a 15-year-old and has been part of the club's B team for the last three seasons, helping them win promotion in 2016-17.
Tarin, who can also play as a full-back, was restricted to just 10 appearances this past season due to injury problems.
After injuring his foot at the beginning of the campaign, he missed a large chunk of the season, only returning when Garcia Pimienta took over.
During his time at Barça he also starred in the UEFA Youth League in 2013-14, even scoring in the final as Barcelona's U19s won 3-0 against Benfica.
An international at youth level with Spain, he will now get a shot in La Liga at Leganes under their new coach, Mauricio Pellegrino.
