The Polish forward wants to come to Camp Nou and Barça are considering a move

Barcelona are looking to add a world class striker to their project. The idea was to go for Erling Haaland but he looks too expensive and he may choose Man City or Real Madrid instead. Instead they are looking to another Bundesliga forward, Robert Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, who has told the club through his people that he wants to come to Barcelona. He will do everything he can to come and has it as his priority.

Conversations for Lewandowski started in January when he offered himself to Barca. His relationship with Bayern has deteriorated because they only offered him a year on his deal which expires in 2023. He thinks his cycle in Munich is over. Now he wants come to Spain.

Barcelona have taken note and have begun to work seriously on his arrival. The final offensive for Lewandowski has not yet begun as they are waiting for Haaland’s final decision. But if he does not come to Barça, they will try for Lewandowski.

He wants a three to four year deal and the key will be for him to force his way out of Bayern for as low a price as possible. The Germans want 65 million for him but it could be lowered by exchanges too.

Bayern want Sergino Dest, for example.

Lewandowski is liked by Xavi, who wants a striker that can guarantee 20 goals a season.
