The former Schalke and Nuremberg player spoke about one of the soap operas of the summer

Robert Lewandowski’s potential move from Bayern to Barcelona is one of the biggest operations of the summer. In Poland they are paying close attention to the striker’s future.

The last to speak about the deal was his compatriot Tomasz Hajto who played in the Bundesliga too, for Schalke 04 and Nuremberg. Speaking to Sport1, the current coach blamed the Bayern directors for Lewandowski wanting to leave.

“Simply, he’s deeply disappointed,” said Hajto. “Oliver Khan told him that he weld make him a renewal offer but Robert said that he had not received it.”

The former player believes that this matter “should be internally resolved. This had not happened with Rummenigger and Hoeness. With them nothing was public. Neither Robert nor Bayern needs this theatre.”
