The final decision De Ligt needs to make: FC Barcelona or PSG
According to the French media outlet, De Ligt has turned down offers from everybody else aside from Barça and PSG
The speculation surrounding Matthijs De Ligt's future remains a hot topic of debate. According to RMC Sport, the Ajax captain has narrowed down his choices to two teams: PSG or FC Barcelona.
Barça have been following the youngster's progress for the longest time and, after securing a deal for Frenkie de Jong, want to reunite the pair at thw Camp Nou next season. However their offer isn't going to be as economically tempting as others. This is why PSG are the other candidate on the table. They were happy to match the terms presented by Mino Raiola. Barça, in contrast, prefer to sell the club - and its history - rather than offering astronomical sums of cash.
This means De Ligt has already turned down Liverpool, who recently won the Champions League, Juventus and Manchester United. The defender is getting ready with Holland to take on England in the 'Final Four' of the Nations League. The winner of the match will take on Portugal this Sunday in the final and afterwards the defender is expected to reveal his next club.
