The former Barcelona midfielder is shining with LA Galaxy and has scored again
Riqui Puig has started off in spectacular fashion in MLS. The midfielder signed for the LA Galaxy for three seasons and debuted on August 20, coming on against Seattle in the 62nd minute. He has started the four games after that and has two goals and an assist.
He played 90 minutes on Saturday night against Nashville, and took a penalty, which he netted. Before, Chicharito, had missed one.
Riqui’s first goal against Toronto was a golazo, and he has definitely hit the ground running.
The game against Nashville saw him create three chances, with 92 per cent pass accuracy and 4/5 dribbles completed.
