Antoine Griezmann isn't creating a consensus at FC Barcelona. The Atletico Madrid forward says he's leaving his club to play elsewhere, although his destination is unknown. From July 1 his release clause drops to 120m euros from 200m and Barcelona have been heavily linked with him, some saying a deal between the player and club is done. However there are many voices from even within Barcelona who don't want his arrival to happen and one of them is Carles Rexach.
The former Barca coach spoke on Catalunya Radio and didn't bite his tongue. "The president didn't ask me for my opinion but one day he did ask me and I told him I would not sign Griezmann. The video he made annoyed me and later I said in a sporting sense he plays in the same position as Messi. I think there are other players who would fit better or do something a bit different."
