Revealed: Barcelona's three kits for the 2017/18 season

The announcement of Rakuten means production can begin on next season's strips already

Barcelona's shirts for the 2017/18 season are about to go into production. The replicas have been given the thumbs up by all parties and the fact the new sponsor (Rakuten) has been announced means Nike have all they need to begin manufacturing.

The first designs were presented in February 2016. Since then, and after various adjustments, they've been finalising the exact design.

It's an innovative and different design to what we have seen until now. With a vertical stipe in the middle of the shirt much wider than usual, with the other stripes more narrow. The new shirt will surprise all supporters of the club.

Directors at the club say "it's the design which has been best recieved" in the meetings surrounding its final appearance.

Work on the second and third kits began months later. On these models, the colour matters more than the design. The big news is the brown colour which will adorn the third kit.
