Reports: Manchester United keen on Barça defender Umtiti
The Premier League side are looking to strengthen their defence this summer
According to French website 'le10sport.com', Manchester United are interested in Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti.
Manchester City, coached by Pep Guardiola, have been linked with the France international before but it's their city rivals now said to be keen on a move.
The report even claims negotiations have already started with Barça ahead of a move which could happen while the Catalans are in the United States as the transfer window shuts in England next week.
United are ready to offer 50 million euros, which is close to the 60 million Barça had put on Umtiti's head earlier this summer.
The Red Devils previously showed an interest in Umtiti, who joined Barça from Lyon for 25 million in 2016, before he renewed his deal with the Blaugrana last year.
