They want one of the Barcelona midfielders in January and have made contact
Real Betis will try and sign Carles Alena or Riqui Puig on loan to replace the injured Sergio Canales, and have started conversations with Barca to try and get one at the start of the January transfer window.
Per Estadio Deportivo, they say that as Canales's injury won't go over five months they cannot make an emergency signing. However as soon as the window opens they want a replacement.
Alena was already on loan at Betis and did well there, while Pellegrini is also interested in Puig. However there are two other secret players being looked at for if conversations with Barcelona don't bear fruit.
