The Brazilian winger is a target for the Catalans for next season

Raphinha is prioritising Barcelona over Liverpool. The Leeds United winger wants to move to the Catalan giants, despite various sides knocking on his agent Deco’s door in recent months.

Raphinha’s obsession is to sign for Barcelona and become a key player for Xavi Hernandez.

For this reason, SPORT have been able to learn, Raphinha and Deco have parked a succulent offer from Liverpool and are waiting for Barcelona to reach a deal with Leeds. The Brazilian winger is the chosen forward Klopp wants to replace Sadio Mane, who is poised to head to Bayern Munich.

The Reds, who have a lot more financial muscle than Barcelona, are also willing to offer Leeds Takumi Minamino as part of the deal.

However the Brazilian winger has agreed personal terms with Barcelona.

Mateu Alemany will head to Leeds this week to restart conversations between the clubs. The aim is to find a meeting point between what Barcelona can pay and the 65m euros that Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear wants to raise for the club’s star player.

Raphinha played for Brazil in their 1-0 win over Japan on the right wing and linked up with Dani Alves, who started too.

Now the Leeds man goes on holiday knowing he is Brazil’s first choice on the right wing, ahead of Antony, who was not in the squad because of injury, Gabriel Jesus and Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
