The Brazilian winger is a target for the Catalans for next season

Raphinha has taken a step forward that could be definitive and has told Leeds United directors he wants to play at Camp Nou next season. Everyone there knows what he wants. He has a contract until 2024 at Leeds but a deal with Barcelona to sign, if the clubs can agree a fee.

The Brazilian has been playing under pressure to try and keep Leeds up, while knowing if they go down he has a 25m euro release clause.

His professionalism has been beyond question and that may help now he wants to leave. His wild celebration with the fans upon staying up shows the effort he put in.

However now he considers his time in the Premier League over and he wants to come to Barcelona.

Raphinha will link up with Dani Alves in the Brazil squad for games in Kora and Japan.

Barcelona made a 35m euro bid for him in March which was rejected. Now they have to negotiate again.
