Rakitic goes to party in Seville after Anfield debacle
The midfielder took advantage of time off to head to the south of Spain
Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has taken advantage of the two days off given to the players by Ernesto Valverde following Tuesday's painful Champions League KO against Liverpool to forget the debacle and travel to Sevilla.
The former Sevilla player enjoyed the city's Feria in the company of his family. José María del Nido Carrasco, the sone of Sevilla's ex-president, uploaded a photograph alopngside Rakitic on his Instagram account, although he deleted it a couple of hours later.
Rakitic's presence at the Sevilla Feria has seen him widely criticised by Barça fans online. That is, without doubt, what led to Del Nido deleting the photo, which featured him posing with the Barça midfielder smiling.
The Blaugrana are not back in training until Friday, when they will begin to prepare of Sunday's league game against Getafe.
