Raiola asks Manchester United to sell Paul Pogba
The controversial agent responded to Paul Scholes, who had criticised Paul Pogba's leadership ability in the defeat to Brighton
Paul Pogba's situation at Manchester United continues to become more and more complicated. Following the Red Devils unexpected and much criticised loss to Brighton, Paul Scholes was the latest name to stick the knife in. He attacked the entire structure of the football club as well as the underwhelming performance Pogba put in during the match. This has caused Mino Raiola to ask that United transfer the player.
On Australian TV, Scholes didn't bite his tongue and said that "Manchester United lack leadership". Pogba should be the one to take that responsibility, Scholes even said he'd be the "ideal candidate" to, but that "he had another really poor game" and accused Pogba of being inconsistent.
Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, was enraged by Scholes' comments and didn't waste any time in voicing his displeasure on social media. Here is the first tweet he posted:
Some people need to talk for fear of being forgotten. Paul Scholes wouldn’t recognize a leader if he was in front of Sir Winston Churchill. @paulpogba

And the second tweet:
Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba. Would be sleepless nights to find Pogba a new club @paulpogba
— Mino Raiola (@MinoRaiola) 21 de agosto de 2018
Without a doubt it's a message which could be interpreted as Raiola asking for Pogba be sold this summer. At the moment, the Red Devils aren't willing to negotiate a transfer involving Pogba and Barça have distanced themselves from a potential deal.
