Rafinha not in Barça squad as move to Real Betis edges closer

The midfielder will not travel to Valladolid with the other Barcelona players

Ernesto Valverde has named his squad for Saturday's league game against Real Valladolid (22.15h CET). The absence of Rafinha is the big talking point, suggesting that his move to Real Betis could happen imminently.

Paco Alcacer, who has been linked with Borussia Dortmund, has also been left out of the 18-man travelling party.

Jasper Cillessen, Denis Suarez, Carles Aleña and Sergi Samper, all currenely sidelined with injuries, have also been omitted from the squad.

Barça B goalkeeper Jokin Ezkieta comes in for Cillessen as back up for Marc-Andre ter Stegen, while Munir takes Rafinha's place in the squad after being left off the list last weekend for the win over Alaves.

The full squad is: Ter Stegen, Jokin Ezkieta, Semedo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Coutinho, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, Dembélé, Malcom, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Munir, Sergi Roberto, Arturo Vidal and Umtiti.
