Rafinha dropped as Denis Suarez returns to Barcelona squad

Valverde's also left out Samper, Aleña and Vermaelen, while Malcom's injured

Ernesto Valverde has named his 18-man squad for Barcelona's leagu game against Girona, with Denis Suarez taking Rafinha's place.

Rafinha made his first start in La Liga this season last week against Real Sociedad but he will watch Sunday's Catalan derby from the stands.

Arthur Melo also makes the squad after recovering from a bug which kept him out of training on Friday.

Malcom is still injured, while, along with Rafinha, Sergi Samper, Thomas Vermaelen and Carles Aleña have been left out for technical reasons.

The squad is:

Goalkeepers: Ter Stegen and Cillessen.

Defenders: Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto and Umtiti.

Midfielders: Rakitic, Busquets, Denis Suárez, Coutinho, Arthur and Arturo Vidal.

Forwards: Luis Suárez, Messi, Dembélé and Munir.
