Quique Setien on why Riqui Puig has lost minutes
The coach says he has to improve in some aspects of the game
Barcelona coach Quique Setién told La Vanguardia on Saturday the reasons that Riqui Puig has lost minutes at the club.
He said that the youngster, 20, has "things to improve" because "football has become complicated and it's no longer good enough just to be a great player, you can be someone who unbalances defences goinf forward but you have to have the capacity to defend, work and read situations.
"With the ball, yes, very good, but later there's defensive work and concepts in which he has to improve. Everyone does. Riqui has a lot of potential, like Collado.
Riqui Puig will not be called up for the Clasico at the Bernabeu on Sunday, working with Barca B on Saturday for the game against Orihuela.
