PSG willng to sell Neymar in installments
The Parisian club were not open to the possibility last year
PSG are totally closed off to the idea that Kylian Mbappe could leave this summer but Neymar is another question. L’Equipe say this is the case and it’s the first time that the Parisians are open to the possibility of the Brazilian leaving. they won’t make it easy, given their economic power and their tense relationship with Barcelona, although the door is open.
PSG know that they have two stars in their team that big clubs want, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, and are fighting to keep them in the squad for next season.
Neymar is in his third year at PSG and his price would be around 180 million euros. In France they think Barcelona might not be able to offer that much, given they need their players to take salary cuts.
“Unlike Mbappe, PSG would be willing to accept a deferred payment for Neymar’s sale on this occasion, something that wasn’t the case last year,” said L’Equipe.
Barcelona offered 100m euros plus Philippe Coutinho, or a packet including Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo, Umtiti and some money. All options were discarded by PSG. Now Griezmann could enter the deal.
SPORT have learnt that Neymar still wants to come back, while in France they say he’s only thinking about the coronavirus and finishing the Champions League with PSG.
