Italian journalist Ginaluca Di Marzio claims Raiola and PSG director of football Leonardo have met in the French capital

PSG are pushing hard to land Matthijs de Ligt this summer. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio there will be a meeting today between Mino Raiola, the player's agent, and Leonardo, PSG's director of football.

The agent wants to know what PSG are willing to offer and, depending on how the meeting goes, Leonardo could present an official offer to de Ligt.

According to Di Marzio PSG are now in pole position to land the young defender who is weighing up his options before deciding on his future.

There are a little frustrated at Barça because they've agreed a deal with Ajax and refuse to be drawn into a bidding war.

De Ligt confirmed after the Nations League final that he was going on holiday and needed time to reflect on where he'll be playing next season. PSG, after missing out on de Jong, hope to bring the defender in as they look to rebuild their own project.
