Real Madrid want Mbappe to lead their forward line next season and are willing to pay up to €300m for the striker

Neymar is the current star of PSG but Kylian Mbappe's rise has left no one in doubt that he's the next big thing. However that isn't reflected in the difference between the two player's wages. Neymar earns €3m per month whereas Mbappe 'only' takes home €1.7m. This is why there's no rush to sign a new deal from Mbappe's side as they want to ensure he's paid what a global superstar should receive.

Real Madrid know about this situation and Florentino Perez is desperate to add the young star to his team. According to 'AS', Los Blancos are willing to part with up to €300m in the summer of 2021. Mbappe's existing deal expires in 2022.

The same outlet claims PSG are ready to secure the long-term future of Mbappe and bring his salary in line with that of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi (€50m per season). Nike, the official sponsor of PSG, also have big deals with Neymar and Kylian. Everything suggests things will become much clearer this summer.
