PSG could pay 25 million euros for Barca's Emerson Royal
The French club are interested in the Brazilian right back who has not played for Barca
PSG could boost Barca’s finances next summer by signing a player who has never featured for the club. Emerson Royal, on loan at Betis for two years, is Barcelona property.
Leonardo, the PSG sporting director, wants Emerson to form part of his new project and could offer around 25 million euros for him.
Barca would have to give some of that number to Real Betis but it will be a welcome boost to the club’s coffers.
Emerson has played 14 times this season in La Liga and twice in the Copa del Rey, convincing Leonardo of his qualities.
Barca would make around 10m euros profit on a player they have never even had in their playing squad.
The Catalans signed Sergino Dest from Ajax in the summer so Emerson's prospects at Camp Nou can be considered slim.
