Tuchel called for the club and the player to deal with things professionally

Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel left the door open to any possibility regarding the future of Adrien Rabiot, who looks set to move to Barcelona.

Rabiot has been outcast by PSG after refusing to extend his contract beyond the end of the summer, when he will be free to sign for any other club.

Tuchel spoke in a press conference on Saturday and called for both Rabiot and the club "to be professional" until the end.

"It's not easy but it must be professional -- we all have to be professional," said the German coach, before drawing parallels with Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal) and Ander Herrera's (Manchester United) situations.

"He's not the first player in a dressing room in this situation. There are others at the moment, like Ramsey and Herrera, this isn't a unique situation."

Tuchel is "convinced" that Rabiot's reponse will be positive and that "he will remain professional because until now he's been a top pro, and that's what I expect from Adri."

The PSG boss didn't hide that it's a "little complicated" and that "we have to wait, anything could happen," insisting on the notion of professionalism.
