PSG ask for Ousmane Dembele as part of the Neymar deal
They value Neymar at 222m euros and Dembele could form a big part of that fee
The Neymar operation will be resolved, for good or bad in the coming days. Barca and PSG are discussing the players that would be involved in the deal. PSG are are clear. They like Coutinho and Rakitic but value those players at 122 million euros, and want 100m more to make back the 222m they paid for Neymar in 2017.
Barcelona will not pay that much and PSG suggested that Ousmane Dembele could be included in the deal along with Coutinho. Barcelona don’t like that idea initially but anything could happen in the coming days.
Barcelona believe Neymar’s value has dropped in the past two years and that PSG have amortised a part of the fee. They think Neymar is worth 160m - which Rakitic and Coutinho fulfil a big part of.
The Croatian wants to stay but PSG could make him a tempting enough offer to lure him.
“If he (Neymar) says he wants to go to Barca, this is all sealed within 48 hours,” Barcelona say. The Brazilian is thinking about it, but for now has maintained his silence.
Neymar wants to leave. PSG want him to go now. And Barca know Madrid are also interested so would like to sort the deal out quickly too.
