Carles Aleña is one of the players Barcelona consider transferrable this summer. He's not fulfilled his potential at the club and has sought loans at Real Betis and Getafe in recent seasons.
Following the end of his loan with Getafe, Aleña still has a good reputation in La Liga -- and also outside of Spain.
Barça need to cut their wage bill and, if possible, bring in fees for players. The club are working on it and they're aware of interest in Aleña from England.
According to sources at the club, Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on the 23-year-old midfielder.
Wolves signed Nelson Semedo from Barça last summer for 30 million euros plus 10 million in add-ons but would expect to pay much less for Aleña.
The English side were also linked with Francisco Trincao recently.
Aleña, meanwhile, has interesting offers from La Liga, with Valencia, Granada and Getafe all keen on him. Barça want eight million euros.
