The midfielder will be allowed to leave Camp Nou for nothing this summer

Tottenham have joined the race for Miralem Pjanic. The Premier League side have added the Barcelona midfielder to their list of summer targets, according to the English media.

Barça are willing to the Bosnia international go for free but he has still not reached an agreement with any other club. Barça are in a rush to reduce their wage bill and he could be one of the next players to leave.

According to the reports, the fact Tottenham's director of football is Fabio Paratici has led to their interest. He knows Pjanic from his time at Juve and now wants to bring him to London.

Barça signed Pjanic for 60 million euros last summer and if they don't make a penny on him they will register losses of 45 million euros, as they have only paid one of four years amortisation.

However, the Catalan club's main concern at the moment is reducing the wage bill.
