The USMNT right-back is attracting plenty of interest ahead of the summer

A new club in the race for Sergiño Dest. According to TEAMtalk, Leeds United are interested in Barcelona's American right-back.

The Premier League side want to improve their squad this summer, especially at full-back, and their coach Jesse Marsch, who is from the United States, wants Dest to compete with Luke Ayling.

Leeds have just 29 points from 30 games this season and are 16th in the table. They have seven points between them and the drop zone, although they have played more games than Watford, Burnley and Norwich, the teams currently in relegation.

If they stay up, sporting director Victor Orta will have a lot of work to do in the summer to make sure they don't have to wait so long to secure their survival.

Dest has been inconsistent at Barça so far, but at Elland Road they believe he can be a top-level player. Remember that Barça have also been linked with Leeds winger Raphinha, so talks between the clubs could tackle two potential deals.
