Another possible swap deal is reported to be on the table between the two clubs

Miralem Pjanic's Erasmus in Barcelona could be coming to an end this summer. After a season in which the Bosnian's hardly featured for Ronald Koeman's team, both the player and the club are contemplating an exit. According to RAC1, he could return to his former home: Juventus.

The cited media report that, several weeks ago, Barça and Juve met to speak and analyse the possibility of a swap deal involving Pjanic and Rodrigo Bentancur. Pjanic would return to the Old Lady and the Uruguayan would sign for Barça in a deal similar to the one that saw Pjanic join Barça and Arthur sign for Juve.

Barça have followed Bentancur, 23, for a number of years. It remains to be seen if talks advance, with both parties open to picking up negotiations again when the season finish. And the good relationship between the two clubs could help.

This season, Pjanic has played 1,275 minutes across 28 games. The midfielder hasn't played since March, when he came off the bench in the draw against Paris Saint-Germain as Barça exited the Champions League. Since then, he's not played a single minute.
