Pjanic responds to Barcelona links after Instagram 'like'
The Juventus midfielder has pledged loyalty to his current club
Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic has responded to the stories he is set to move to Barcelona this summer.
The Bosnian international, who is currently on holiday, has posted a comment on Instagram stories after he liked an image claiming Barça are interested in him.
"Barça want to strengthen their midfield with world class footballer Pnanic (Juventus)," a post on the social media site read, which the Juve man liked.
However, following the interest that like generated, he posted on Instagram: "Mamma mia... just for one like on a photograph ... at least read what was written. Fake news."
Therefore, Pjanic has not only denied rumours he could end up at Barcelona but has also shown his loyalty to Serie A champions Juve.
Pjanic, 28, is one of the players on Barça's shortlist to strengthen their midfield after they missed out on Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, which has shifted their priorities.
Juve, meanwhile, have made plans in case Pjanic does leave, with Lazio's Milinkovic-Savic a possible replacement.
