Miralem Pjanic has bid farewell to his time as a Juventus player. The Bosnian midfielder has enjoyed a success-filled spell in Turin but his departure comes after a narrow defeat to Lyon in the Champions League. Despite winning the match on the night, Juve were eliminated on away goals and as such, their season is over.
This also means Pjanic can bring forward his plans to get settled in Barcelona and begin a new chapter of his career in Spain. The midfielder could have remained with Juventus until the end of this month but now has extra time to organise his across the Mediterranean.
As soon as next week, Pjanic could land in Barcelona to finalise some minor details on his contract. He'll also be able to look for a place to live. Should the opportunity arise, Pjanic might even be officially presented as a Barça player.
