Pique's funny comparison as he defends Iker Casillas

Gerard Pique's back on Twitter. After a summer in which the Catalan defender has been absent on social media, especially with regards to Barcelona, he returned on Monday after his side's win against Villarreal. 

However, his return was not related to the 4-0 win at Camp Nou, but in response to a tweet posted about Juanma Rodriguez, a journalist who appears on 'El Chiringuito' and is especially obsessed with FC Barcelona. 

Casillas had responded to a tweet in which Juanma has kicked off about him: "Casillas says being a substitute under Del Bosque was sporting and under Mourinho was personal... He forgets to say that Del Bosque was sick and tired of him and he did not accept being a substitute. And also fails to speak about, to be personal, the little campaign from some of his journalist friends against Mou." 

The reply from the former Real Madrid goalkeeper read: "Can someone tell me who this gentleman is? I don't have the pleasure of knowing him in person but I see that he holds me in high consideration..." 

On Monday, Pique also responded to Casillas, albeit with just a word: "Gargamel!" he wrote. Pique was making reference to Juanma, who looks like a cartoon character named Gargamel, a witch permanently in a bad mood from the show Los Pitufos. The tweet soon went viral.
