The Barcelona defender revealed his plans in an interview with L'Equipe

Gerard Pique's work never stops. The ideas keep coming and he's always looking for new opportunities. Now, in an interview with L'Equipe's magazine, he's revealed he has not one, but two new ideas...

In the interview, Pique speaks about his new projects. "At the moment we have two. One is to buy a team. Sorry, but I can't say anything else. And the other is to create a new football competition or to use one which already exists," he explains.

Despite the insistence of the journalist, Pique doesn't give any more clues and limits his response to saying "they're two really cool projects."

He does talk in more depth about his other project, his revamp of the Davis Cup: "There are players that our in favour of our project, like Nadal, Thien and Clic. Others aren't, others don't want the two competition. There's a little of everything."

Pique also spoke about Roger Federer's 'no': "I don't want to waste time with that. It's not an ego problem. What I want is to create a great competition, but it will not be the Pique Cup."
