Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says what he thinks. Despite being the subject of insults from Real Madrid fans and players as they celebrated La Liga and Champions League trophies this season, he continues his war of words with the club.
Pique, who is with the Spain squad in the capital city, has given an interview to Movistar+ about Madrid winning the Champions League. His words weren't wasted.
"When we have a victory parade for winning the Copa del Rey you can say Real Madrid have entered an important cycle," the Catalan centre-back said.
"You still can’t compare what we have won during all these years with what Madrid have won in the last two seasons. We achieved that, we achieved that Madrid had a victory parade for winning the Copa del Rey."
